French Authorities Confirm Violent Mugging Of Naomi Campbell

British supermodel Naomi Campbell was attacked on November 21, 2012 in the central Paris district of Marais.
French prosecutors confirmed on Friday that Campbell was the victim of "attempted robbery with violence" and that she had reported the incident to the police.
The New York Post published an article on Thursday (January 3) claiming that Campbell had been robbed and suffered a leg injury in the attack. The report goes on to claim that Campbell then flew to Colorado to be treated at the Steadman Clinic.
French police had earlier been unable to confirm any report had been filed by Campbell.
The prosecutor's office declined to give any further details.
