Directed by William Witney, PERILS OF NYOKA cost $175,010 to produce and was the most popular serial of 1942. The serial was re-released in theaters in 1952 as NYOKA AND THE TIGERMEN, the re-released yet again for television broadcast as an edited feature film under the title NYOKA AND THE LOST SECRETS OF HIPPOCRATES.
