我が次女は今年の4月に高校生になります。先日彼女は筑波大学の司書の講座を受けるためにこの大学に入学したいと言っていました。本に囲まれた世界で生きていきたいそうです。
最近、妻の弟からサーフィンを習ったそうです。一日で憶えたそうです。
そう、14歳になったら、親とは違う世界で彼女は生きていきます。
それが素晴らしいことだと、この映画は言っています。
長女が小学生の頃、「学校の怪談２」のシナリオをプレゼントしました。
そのあとに、二人でこの映画を観たときに。彼女は、シナリオで全てが表現されているのに、何故映画を創るのかと僕に質問しました。
彼女は、シナリオを読んでその世界を創ったのでしょう。もしかしたら、彼女の思い描いた映画ではなかったのかもしれません。そのシナリオライターが、奥田佐渡子です。
