Artist and songwriter Lasse Vestergaard has since his recording debut in 2004 distinguished himself as an exciting artist on the Danish music scene, having released two albums and toured the UK, US, GRL and several other countries, he is now writing and performing in his native language, danish. This spring he has released a new digital EP "Folk & Fæ" on VME. The texts are authored by the awarded Danish poet Kasper Anthoni, Vestergaard himself and the song "Memphis Station" is an excerpt of Johannes V. Jensen's famous poem from 1906. The style is laid-back, classic acoustic, nordic folk music inspired by 50's and 60's folk and popular music.
