A number of highly sought after Hollywood memorabilia went on the auction block this weekend, bringing in some really large numbers. The highlight of the sale included Star Trek's William Shatner's Pilot Laser Rifle which sold for a record 231,000 dollars (USA). The phaser rifle from the second pilot of Star Trek was created at the request of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry in the 1960s.

The event took place at Julien's Auctions house in Beverly Hills, which also included The Green Hornet and his trusty sidekick Kato's tricked out 1965 Imperial Crown nicknamed Black Beauty. In the 2011 production of The Green Hornet Columbia pictures built and destroyed a number of these cars during production. Julien's Auctions presented the one vehicle to survive intact which sold for 46,875.

A Wizard of Oz Munchkins Flower Pot hat sold for 15,000, while Marilyn Monroe's bra from the "Some Like It Hot" gown garnered more than 28,125 dollars.
