Tammy Allison, a high-ranking nurse with direct operational responsibility for inpatient services, emergency services and nursing administration supervisors at Village Hospital was charged with stealing controlled substances and omitting or altering records pertaining to the drugs. Allison, 43, allegedly stole a “quantity” of the addictive painkillers hydromorphone and morphine from Village Hospital and deleted or falsified records relating to the theft. She confessed to the crimes according to the arrest warrants and was released from Spartanburg County jail on $10,000 bond.
