Aao Urdu Seekhain introduces Urdu to children in a fun and exciting manner. A part of the Jugnu TV network, Aao Urdu Seekhain is designed and developed with the support of educationists and psychologists. Aao Urdu Seekhain’s central characters are two siblings namely Shaheen and Shahbaz who, along with their family and friends, learn and teach Urdu while having fun. This video channel primarily contains Urdu Poems and Urdu Stories.

There is a global consensus among educationists and children development professionals that poems are important for language, cognitive, physical and social/ emotional development of children. Research has indicated that “if children know eight nursery rhymes by heart by the time they are four years old, they are usually among the best readers by the time they are eight.” [Fox, M. (2001). Reading Magic. San Diego, CA: Harcourt.].

Aao Urdu Seekhain brings an amazing collection of animated Urdu poems for children, ranging from ever green classics to the new ones. We are hoping that your children will keep on learning new Urdu poems from our ever expanding collection.

Who can imagine a world without stories? Stories are mostly a child’s first introduction to the outside world. Stories help make effective bonds and story time can be a special caring time that your children will remember all their lives. Stories can be informative, exciting and fun and allow your child to develop a though process. Like poems, stories play an important role in language, cognitive, physical and social/ emotional development of children.

Aao Urdu Seekhain will keep on bringing an exciting collection of animated Urdu stories for children. They will include classics, fables and tales from the modern times as well as translations from other languages.
