Just moved from YouTube at 9:00 AM December 19, 2008. I left in response to the new censorship rules that have been put into effect recently (http://www.youtube.com/blog?entry=AEX3_7h40mk). Although I don't upload videos with any sort of mature or profane content, I still think that YouTube is trampling on its users' right to free speech, effectively silencing anyone they don't agree with. If YouTube is going to become a site for the few uptight, Disney Channel-watching pantywaists, then I want no part of it. Ever since Google bought the website in 2007, it has made changes that received mostly negative feedback from users. This "algorithmic demotion" tactic is the last straw for me.
