Erinn Bates is a native Nashvillian who has never been a stranger to the music business. The singer started playing piano, mandolin, and guitar at an early age and began working with a music manager at 15. While enrolled at Belmont University, Erinn met the Grammy winning producer of The Judd’s, Brent Maher, and began writing with powerhouse songwriters Mark Selby and Tia Sillers, and recording at Maher’s studio. Before graduation, she had signed a deal with another award winning producer, Mark Wright, at Sony.

Since recording with Maher and Wright, she has won song competitions had songs recorded by artists in the US and Canada, had her original songs on network television, and joined singer/songwriter, Jude Toy, in their buzzed about country duo, The Darlins. In the fall of 2013, the girls won the national battle of the bands, The Hourly Gig, sponsored by job search site, Snagajob, and won the coveted spot to open for Montgomery Gentry. Over 100,000 votes by the public were cast for The Darlins. Since they have released their first EP, CRUSH, and was named the 2017 duo of the year at the largest independent music award show in the world, the Josie Music Awards.
