Hillcrest Adolescent Treatment Center is a licensed, residential mental health facility based in the tropical foothills of Agoura Hills, California. It is a serene and quite rehabilitation oasis for adolescents struggling with addiction, substance abuse, and co-occurring mental health disorders. The facility is uniquely situated and designed to provide and nurture healing on all levels. Through their individualized and diverse treatment plans, they aim to satisfy each client’s physical, emotional, mental, psychological and nutritional needs.
The wholesome healing sessions are provided in a small group environment. Upon admission, in order to understand the root of the client’s disorder, each client is subjected to a series of professional evaluations. Hillcrest specializes in the treatment of mental health disorders, behavioral disorders, anxiety, personality disorders, complex psychiatric disorders, and many co-occurring issues. Their main purpose is to help patients face their problems and to guide them down the path of a long-lasting healing while empowering them to maximize the quality of their life.
In order to heal both body and mind, they work with a variety of innovative and creative therapies. Hillcrest Adolescent Treatment Center provides an educational school component, as well as a number of recreational activities, including a library, art, music, and a wide range of outdoor exercise programs such as tennis and swimming. Each patient is required to participate in 3-5 individual therapy sessions.
