"Le Marathon le plus long du Monde" se court déguisé et traverse les vignobles et les châteaux prestigieux des appellations Pauillac, St-Julien, St Estèphe et Haut-Médoc.
The Médoc Marathon, the "World Longest Marathon " goes through the vineyards and chateaux of the famous appellations of Pauillac, St-Julien, St Estephe and Haut-Médoc.

Il faut faire "le Médoc" comme les marathons de New-York ou Paris !
You must run the "Médoc" like the New York or the Paris ones !

Au Médoc, on ne vient pas faire un temps, on vient prendre son temps : celui d'admirer les paysages, les 52 châteaux traversés, de faire une pause musicale ou encore mieux danser (23 orchestres sur le parcours). Les coureurs peuvent prendre le temps de déguster les vins offerts par les châteaux (21 dégustations œno-sportives) des huîtres (38e km), de l'entrecôte (39e km).
What matters is not to run fast, but just to take your time ! Time to enjoy and admire the landscape and 52 chateaux, time to enjoy music (23 orchestra), time to taste the wines offered by the chateaux (21 wine-tastings) but also oysters (at 38th km) or some beefsteaks grilled on  fire-places (at 39th km).

Le Marathon du Médoc est organisé depuis sa création par la même association de bénévoles (2800 le jour J) associée à la Commanderie Du Médoc et des Graves.
That is possible thanks to 2,800 volunteers who are mobilized on the big day. The Medoc Marathon is an event organized and prepared since the very first one by the same group of volunteers associated with the Commanderie du Médoc et des Graves.
