UK's Prince George and Princess Charlotte Age Progression
The head of a UK computer science team that claims to have accurately predicted what little Prince George will look like throughout his life has revealed how the technology produced such surprising results. Visual Computing Professor Hassan Ugail and his team at the University of Bradford use software to analyse various facial features which can then combined with heredity data to create the composite images they say offer a glimpse into the future near and far. "So what we've done in the case of George, we've taken his picture and then we've actually taken facial features and then aged him," Professor Ugail, who claims the results are about 80 per cent accurate. "We take roughly 32 to 40 facial features we take from the face and we use these facial features – we map it into the machine and then we produce the age. "So what we've done in the case of George, we've taken his picture and then we've actually taken facial features and then aged him."
