00:00The under-18 Open Standard Division was led by the Filipina woman figure master, Rueli Canino,
00:07who just finished the National Age Group Chess Championships held last weekend at FPJ Arena in Lipa, Batangas.
00:15The 16-year-old wood pusher scored seven points from a card of six wins and two draws
00:21to lead the competition after eight rounds.
00:25Because of this victory, Canino qualified for the 2025 Asian Youth Chess Championship
00:31which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand from November 20 to 30.
