MARY & THE BANKS - VIRTUALITY
PRESENTED BY JUSTINE MOYLE
Sydney's Mary & the Banks are entrancing a new audience with their catchy pop wherever they go. After the success of their first EP, 'Way Back To You', Mary and the Banks got back into the studio with the renowned Vienna People. The self titled EP was mastered by the very best in the industry, King Willy Sound (Gotye, Jimmy Little).
Mary and the Banks grew out of an entirely serendipitous encounter with Mary Bokey, fresh out of high school, moving from a small town in the Southern Highlands in NSW to Sydney, chasing her dream and looking for like-minded songwriters to start a band and write an album. At a music industry event in 2011, Mary met song-writing brothers Zane and Jy-Perry Banks. The trio soon became a quartet with Mitch Burzzese joining in mid 2012 and they quickly discovered that they all had a love of the same type of music and all shared a common goal: to write songs and play music around the world.
