Hank plays guitar and sings, Ray plays mandolin. Their regular Monday night gig at Charlies Bar on Union Quay has been on the go since 1993 and is an institution in Cork City. The atmosphere is of the gig is one of relaxed conviviality and experimentation. Many musicians from far and wide, playing everything from saxophones to sitars, singer/songwriters, some very well known, some up and coming have sat in with Hank and Ray on a Monday night in Charlies.
They've toured all over Ireland, been to Europe and the USA and have recorded and released an album entitled "Where The Bottles Break". The album reflects their interest in Euro/Americana Roots Music and quality songwriting with songs by John Prine, Noel Brazil and John Gorka amongst the 11 tracks on the album.
