USAID Power Distribution Program facilitating improvements in Electric Power Distribution (Exhibitors TV at POGEE 2013)

Zia ur Rehman, Communications Director with USAID Power Distribution Program spoke with Exhibitors TV Network during POGEE 2013 - Lahore, Pakistan.

He shared that USAID Power Distribution Program is a five-year, USAID-financed project designed to facilitate improvements in electric power distribution utilities across Pakistan. The Program works in partnership with the Ministry of Water and Power, Government of Pakistan and they are working with nine (9) power distribution companies, including GEPCO - Gujranwala Electric Power Company; FESCO - Faisalabad Electric Supply Company; HESCO - Hyderabad Electric Supply Company; IESCO - Islamabad Electric Supply Company; LESCO - Lahore Electric Supply Company; MEPCO - Multan Electric Power Company; PESCO - Peshawar Electric Supply Company; QESCO - Quetta Electric Supply Company and SEPCO - Sukkur Electric Power Company.
