EVERYONE IS DIRTY - I'M OK

Everyone Is Dirty has its base in Oakland CA where they write and record songs in their rad home studio. EID started out as Sivan & Chris, writing and recording grungy psychedelic pop songs through a highly-charged bi-coastal correspondence to escape from the chaos. The magnetic collaboration quickly became such an obsession that Sivan moved from NY to Oakland to continue the work. With multi-instrumentalist Chris at the helm as engineer, and Sivan on vocals and violin, together they wrote and recorded the drum-less album POOR MALONE DIES, a 10 song concept album that follows the whimsical & tragic journey of Lee Malone, a lost soul who battles addiction, mental instability & heartbreak. After the album's release, Chris was diagnosed with Lymphoma, a rare form of cancer, a shocking blow at such a young age. Sivan stayed steadfastly at his side through 6 months of fucking hell, living in the hospital with him and keeping the music alive. Chris' strong body and spirit prevailed, and his new beginning is signified with a literal bang. Drums. HEAD IN THE CLOUDS is Everyone Is Dirty's new project and Tony Sales makes his mark on the recordings with his crisp hard-hitting drums. Lead singer Sivan also is a violinist, and strings are an integral part of the Everyone Is Dirty sound.
Everyone Is Dirty is releasing HEAD IN THE CLOUDS song by song over the course of 2013.
