BAN: employment of ex-Police Officers by the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) to Investigate Police Activities
This petition has been created by the Marcus Garvey Initiative Agency to help bring about global awareness of a social injustice, and to ensure that the IPCC is not permitted by law, to have or employ former police officers working within the organization in any capacity whatsoever.
This IPCC employment loop hole is urgently required to be made obsolete immediately, for the benefit of Africans, people of African descent and other ethnic minorities to all vulnerable groups in society of any social class or racial classification.
We believe that this IPCC employment strategy contributes towards contravening the Universal Declaration of Human Rights adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 10 December 1948, whether an act of social injustice, committed by any police officer(s) is motivated by racism or not.
