African leaders want more peacekeeping force

There are now more peacekeepers in Africa than at any time in the continent's history, numbering 90,000 from the United Nations and the African Union. But heads of state meeting in the Ethiopian capital say that more are needed, and are appealing for financial help to boost its current $6-bn a year.
