All of Me - Carling Family - 1993
Recorded during a jazz concert in Vasteras Sweden the Goteborg family performs “Lazy River”. Gunhild (18) trumpet, Max (24) clarinet, Gerd (22) trombone, Ulf (14) drums with father Hans piano and mother Aina guitar.
After the piano intro Gunhild sings the tune and is backed-up by the voices of Gerd and Max. Then after a piano interval Gunhild plays trumpet backed up by renor and alto. It is the first time I heard Gunhild play this tune and I can’t get over it. Her timing, her tone, and her technique are just unbelievable. What a talent !
