The Bexley Planning Commission has conditionally approved a plan for a four-story retail and condominium complex on the site of the Cup o' Joe cafe at East Main Street and Cassady Avenue. That four-story condo building proposed for the Cup o' Joe site is good looking but strange. Why strange? It would only contain 3 residential units above the ground floor retail. But the 3 units would be full-floor condos totaling 5,800 sq. ft. each! This is meant for three local couples "looking to downsize"! Not only will the Gramercy project have full-floor condos, it also will feature an underground garage with 18 parking spots.
