This is the original version of Freedom isnt Free. I can remember singing this in grade school. Yet it disappeared from common publication for about 2 decades. The song, as the name implies, reiterates that Freedom and Liberty are not achieved without effort. Don Mashak can attest to this having been a victim of an FBI Martin Luther Kings COINTELPRO operation for merely exercising his Natural Law Rights to Free Press, Free Speech and to Petition the Government for Redress of Grievances without fear of retaliation or punishment, as reduced to writing in the USA First Amendment #1A.
