A ferry with about 200 passengers has capsized in a river near the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka.
Local authorities have reportedly said at least 40 people have been rescued from the vessel, the Pinak-6.
Teams from the Bangladeshi Inland Water Transport Authority and the army have been involved in the salvage operation in the river Padma.
