Extreme stunts gone wrong: Insane ‘Bubble Man’ Reza Baluchi fails attempt to ‘run’ across ocean

A man running across the Atlantic Ocean in a plastic bubble was rescued off the coast of Florida on Saturday morning after failing a unique attempt to raise money for a children’s charity.

Reza Baluchi was found 70 miles East of St. Augustine in a homemade contraption that he and his friends call a ‘hydro pod bubble’.

The marathon runner got the idea to travel on top of water from hamster cages. Baluchi was determined to set a world record by journeying 1,033 miles to Bermuda.

After a week of traveling, he finally gave up his goal due to exhaustion and lack of food supplies and had the coast guard bring him to shore.
