Beyond the broken dreams - Story of a Pakistani Christian asylum seeker in Thailand

Rimsha Masih, a young aspiring female Christian’s remarkable resilience and strive stand as an example to never lose hope. In Pakistan where hundreds of scared Christian girls are forcibly converted into Muslim marriages every year there are a few who truly stand out as brave young women fighting persecution.

She masks her innocence with a spectacular maturity but on the other hand what she has lost can never be brought back to her. Her years of youth in which she should have been studying and being just a normal girl are spent in carrying early responsibilities of running a family. Life never comes easy but being a Christian girl born in a Muslim state with family enmity with Muslims puts her at a particular risk of abduction and being killed. This reason forced her family to move to Thailand which was just the beginning of a new chapter of struggles.
