Saleem is not the only victim of Islamic extremism or hate against Christians in Pakistan. Many lose their lives, their loved ones and their happiness to pay the price of Christianity. This is how miserable life for Christians in Pakistan is. Lives of many individuals are affected every year due to religiously motivated hate crimes and no action is taken against them, “justice” is a term so alien to Pakistani Christians that they don’t even hope for it. Saleem’s life has had an unpleasant turning point but we pray that he copes with it and proves an excellent parent albeit single.
