Chanda Aur Bijli

Chanda Aur Bijli is a Bollywood Romantic film. It is directed by Atma Ram and released in year 1969. Sanjeev Kumar and Padmini plays lead role in this movie. Bijli (Padmini) is a street dancer and she is part of a gang of petty thieves. Sachin (Chanda) is the heir to a heritage household but due to the death of his parents lands up in an orphanage. In the orphanage when the children are ill-treated by the manager, Sachin(Chanda) dares to challenge the Orphanage manager and is severely beaten. Thereafter, through many twists and turns come in his life, Chanda is able to contact his real grandparents, and also reform all the gang of small time thieves.
