PRESENTED BY CROW
Irish Singer Songwriter Ciara O’Neill presents her debut EP ‘Primroses’. Hailing from the darker edge of the folk spectrum, ‘Primroses’ showcases Ciara’s plaintive haunting vocals and melancholic song writing, with early comparisons to Marika Hackman, Lisa Hannigan and Cranberries front woman Dolores O’Riordan.
Ciara has already played high profile support slots with the likes of Smoke Fairies (London), The Henry Girls (Ireland) and Madison Violet (Canada), as well as playing in the prestigious Belfast Nashville Songwriters Festival in March 2014.
With a full length album coming soon, Ciara is planning tour dates for the remainder of 2014 in support of ‘Primroses’.
“Highly recommended”
(Stuart Bailie, BBC Radio Ulster)
“Displaying a watertight confidence, O’Neill shows no fears effortlessly picking her way through complex melody lines and riffs alongside her audacious falsetto”
(Taylor Johnson, BBC Radio Ulster Across the Line)
