Don Juan and The Saguaros sono una realtà emergente nel variegato panorama musicale della capitale.
Guidato da Don Juan, autore, cantante e leader della band, il gruppo si inserisce a pieno titolo nella scena che negli ultimi anni ha saputo rivalutare e dare nuova vitalità alla tradizione musicale americana di estrazione folk, country e blues.
La loro musica e’ il frutto dell’incontro tra le composizioni di impronta cantautoriale di Don Juan e la solida sezione ritimca della band.
Il repertorio del gruppo, composto unicamente di brani originali, spazia dal folk all'alt/country, ed è figlio di ascolti appassionati che spaziano da Bob Dylan a Johnny Cash passando per The Band e gli Everly Brothers. Come risultato naturale, i concerti dei Don Juan and The Saguaros sono coinvolgenti e vivaci, a tratti persino ballabili, ma comprendono anche delle partentesi più intime e distese, caratterizzate dall’utilizzo di strumenti acustici.
Il primo disco dei Don Juan and The Saguaros (omonimo e ditribuito da Goodfellas) esce il 10 Aprile e contiene 13 brani.

With their first album in the upcoming April 2015, Don Juan and The Saguaros perform some time on the most important stages of the Italian capital (as well as those of many other Italian venues). Among their holdings recent opening for the Pistoia Blues Festival 2013 (sharing the stage with the likes of Ben Harper and The Black Crows). The repertoire of the band - the original and in English - ranges from folk to alternative country genre with shades blues and early rock'n'roll, and it’s inspired by the great roots american tradition (from Hank Williams to Johnny Cash). The performances of Don Juan and The Saguaros are electric and lively, sometimes even danceable, but there is no shortage of more intimate numbers, characterized by the use of traditional acoustic instruments (like banjo and double bass).
