Almirante Ackbar is a new band from Lima, Perú.
The band started on September 2013 and with just 3 songs recorded at home they've earned good critics on the media. These songs were included in a split EP with the band Mundaka and released by the experimental label Buh Records.
Right now, the band is in the studio working on their first LP, 13 songs with the same pop-garage soul but with a dirtier recording treatment. The release date is expected on late 2015.
Today Almirante Ackbar is Kevin Muguerza (vocals, guitar), Richard Angeles (drums), Daniel Valderrama (bass) and Diego Cendra (guitar). Tomorrow no one knows.
