A collaborative retreat for musicians, audio engineers, & fans driven by the primary instrumentation, structure, and lyrics of singer / songwriter / producer Ethan Samuel Brown. Hailing from Nashville, TN; Ethan is a neofolk lyricist combining elements of traditionalist european folk, appalacian newgrass, and country western to contrive a melodic concoction of modern, unique folk music.
Ethan's impressionable years were spent in his birth place of the Appalachian mines in Eastern Kentucky. Ingesting nights of moonshine soaked bluegrass through the young eyes of impressionable sobriety, Ethan became obsessed with studying the poems and lyrics of folk musicians and authors who experienced a similar, timeless upbringing.

At 18, he made the move to Nashville. Here, He studied music production under many successful industry professionals on historic music row. After spending a couple of years mingling through the east side of music city as an audio engineer: He began a project formerly known as "Walden"
Walden released a debut EP entitled "Before I Wake" to the public in August of 2013. After positive critical reception, Ethan headed back out on the road playing in support of the project across the entire country.
