Salty dried plum, also known as Li Hing Mui, Huamei or Xí muội has a strong, distinctive flavor. It is tart and tangy and combines sweet, sour, and salty taste. When mixed with crunchy and rather bland fruits like guava, apple or pear, it jazzes up the flavor of the fruits a whole lot.
