Trinidad and Tobago: Vote Count Underway in Tight Election

Voters went to the polls on Monday in an election viewed by many as too tight to call. Votes are now being counted and results are expected shortly. Over a million voters cast their ballots for 41 members of Parliament. The two main contenders were The ruling Peoples Partnership of Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar and the opposition People's National Movement, running Dr. Keith Rowley, which has been in power several times. teleSUR
