DAP: 'Haram' income should go into separate account

Chong Chieng jen (DAP-Bandar Kuching) reveals the government's substantial income from gambling taxes and suggests that since the income is from 'haram' sources it should go into a separate account for the non-Muslim community.

Anthony Loke (DAP-Rasah) said that if Umno of Penang was adamant in returning the RM100 allowance for the state's senior citizens by the state government, claiming that the money came from 'haram' sources, then all government income from gambling sources must be put in another account for the use of non-Muslims.
