A man phoned in to alert authorities that there was indeed a chicken trying to make its way across a street.

"Highway 30 across from the lighthouse. Is it causing traffic problems? Yes its right, really trying to go into the middle of the road. Pretty ironic, but..Yeah its just one chicken? Its one chicken yeah. Ok, and you’re, is it, I mean are people almost crashing because of it or...? I had to slow down almost to a complete stop. On their website, the Portland Police Bureau ed the incident.
