The company captured some hydrogen fuel cell emissions and made bottled water from them.

Ad agency, Leo Burnett Melbourne, helped the automaker with the idea and they've named the product h2o, with the h on the bottles being cleverly replaced by Honda's logo.

Said Honda Australia's communications manager, "We believe in 'The Power of Clever Thinking'. Our work designing cars like the FCX is the embodiment of this ethos. H2O is an engaging way for us to demonstrate our commitment to reducing our environmental footprint to people, instead of simply telling them."

The water was only available in Australia and handed out at theaters there.

There's talk of it possibly being a product carried by dealerships and service garages in the future.

Critics have pointed out that passing out disposable plastic water bottles may not have been the best way to make a pro-environment statement.

Nonetheless, Honda did successfully make their point about how eco-friendly their new car is.ANCHOR: THE BIGGEST AUTOMOTIVE TREND OF 2013 WAS THE ELECTRIC CAR WITH MANY OF THE WORLD'S AUTOMAKERS FROM HERE AND ...
