Pak kohe pas prezantimit te planit urbanistik te Tiranes, kyebashkiaku Lulzim Basha i është përgjigjur sulmeve te opozitës ne lidhje me këtë proces.
Duke e cilësuar te rëndësishëm hartimin e planit për te ardhmen e kryeqytetit, Basha akuzoi paraardhësin e tij si përgjegjës te kaosit urban. Plani i hartuar ne 10 muaj është projektuar për një Tirane me 1.2 milion banore ku i gjithë kryeqyteti është ndare ne 600 blloqe banimi. Urbanistet kane konceptuar ndërtimin edhe te 3 unazave te tjera si dhe krijimin e një Tirane me shume qendra. Pas prezantimit te planit rregullues te Tiranes, specialistet pritet te kryejnë studimet e pjesshme sipas zonave. Rreth 25 qershorit projekti i zhvillimit urbanistik te Tiranes do ti nënshtrohet një debati te gjere publik me specialiste dhe grupe interesi. Ndërsa ne muajin shtator ai pritet te kaloje për miratim ne këshillin e rregullim territorit te republikës.
