Dramatic footage shows the moment a delivery driver climbed to the second floor of a building to save a woman from a blaze before the arrival of the emergency services.
The video, captured in Xianning, Hubei Province, China last Sunday, shows the man - named Zhangyang - climbing onto a security grill outside the window and freeing the woman trapped inside as the room next to her fills with flames and heavy smoke.
According to local reports Zhangyang had spent two years as an armed police officer earlier in his life.
