Acura to start testing extraordinary self-driving vehicle

Amid Google's foray into the world of self-driving vehicles, Acura has now decided to throw its hat into the ring. The Japanese automaker has a new self-driving car which they say will "support more complex testing scenarios" and noted it likely won't arrive until 2020 the earliest. Until then, Acura will test it on a 5,000-acre "automated and connected vehicle proving ground."
