Jurong Bird Park
Jurong Bird Park is one of the famous tourist attractions of Singapore. This haven for a wide variety of colourful feathered species is located on the western slope of the Jurong Hill. The park is spread across an area of 202,000 sq. meters.
This landscaped park has more than nine thousand birds, covering over six hundred species. Of these 29 species of birds are endangered. All total, Jurong Bird Park houses four aviaries, which include the world’s largest walk-in aviary with the tallest man-made waterfall. It’s the world’s only rail system, that chugs through an aviary.
