The latest example of road rage comes from Turkey, where an argument between a passenger and the driver on an Istanbul bus got out of hand, leaving 11 people injured.
Already angry before the bus had set off, the passenger returned to the front of the bus while it was in motion and assaulted the driver with his umbrella. He lost control of the vehicle, which then ploughed over oncoming cars on the other side of the road before crashing into another bus.
Local media reports say the initial argument had been about opening the doors. Passengers restrained the angry traveler after the crash until police took him into custody.
