LAIDLEY, AUSTRALIA — A dad from Queensland, Australia has found himself in a massive amount of trouble with the law, after a video he posted of his son doing a car stunt went viral.

9News reports that Alex Dobson has been taking his young son Riley to burnout competitions since he was a baby. So when the 5-year-old asked to do a burnout by himself, the dad enthusiastically said yes and even recorded his boy’s proud accomplishment.

The video was posted on Dobson’s Facebook page, where he stated that “a car addiction stops a drug addiction.” The video went viral, and went on to gain more than four million views.

Unfortunately, it also caught the police’s attention. Authorities are now investigating Dobson for his alleged irresponsible parenting. His car has been seized, but police have yet to figure out if he can be charged since the stunt was done on private property.

Dobson thinks his son was never in any danger, though he now regrets ever putting the video online.
