Parts of a pier at Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, were damaged as ships washed ashore after Hurricane Matthew swept across the southeastern United States.
Aside from the pier, several trees were knocked over on the island, which also suffered widespread power outrages, Live 5 News reported.
