Toxic lake turned power source in Rwanda | Business

Rwanda is the world's first country getting power from a lake - and averting a natural catastrophe at the same time. Rwanda's Lake Kivu contains a dangerously high concentration of methane gas due to nearby volcanic activity. Extracting the gas could save the lake and provide an economic opportunity for the electricity-starved country.
