Rabinder Singh - Double Agent in RAW

Rabinder Singh was a joint secretary in the Research and Analysis Wing commonly known as RAW.
Rabinder Singh initially served in the Indian Army, later joined the RAW. He was compromised by the CIA.
Before invasion of Iraq, United states wanted independent and unbiased intelligence information about Iraq and its weapons. So CIA used Rabinder Singh to get information about Iraq which Raw was having.
Rabinder Singh was found photocopying documents which not related to his work. After this, he was placed under surveillance and his phone was tapped.
Rabinder got a hint that he is under surveillance and then he started to plot his escape plan. In May 2004, he suddenly disappeared with his wife. It is claimed that Rabinder Singh flew to America via Nepal along with his wife.
This incident shocked the Indian intelligence circle as well as Indian government. Internal inquiry had been setup by Indian Government.
In 2007, an affidavit submitted to the court by R&AW. According to that Rabinder Singh has been traced in New Jersey.
Most of the details of this inquiry kept secrete and never disclosed in public domain. But one thing is sure that Rabinder Singh has done severe damage to RAW and his country.
