THE MIDDLE EAST — Footage of what appears to be a newborn cyclops goat is leaving the internet wide-eyed.
It’s unknown where the footage was shot, but since being released on November 12, the clip has racked up close to 90,000 views on LiveLeak.
The cause of the abnormality is likely due to genetic problems or toxins in the environment. It’s unlikely the mutant goat will survive very long, if it hasn’t died already. Animals born with cyclopia normally don’t live more than a day or two.
The footage is just the latest of villagers inspecting a newborn cyclops goat. In 2014, a similar video, another goat born with the same rare condition was shared online, with the baby goat yelling throughout the clip, and struggling to walk.
