A passenger plane with more than 40 people on board in Pakistan has reportedly crashed on its way to Islamabad from the northern city of Chitral.
Pakistan International Airlines has said in a statement that Flight PK-661 lost contact with air traffic controllers on Wednesday afternoon local time.
A senior police official in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province told Reuters that the plane had come down near the town of Havelian and rescuers were on their way to the scene.
