Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are preparing to take the next step in their hot and heavy romance — according to an insider’s shocking claim, the royal has already asked the actress to be his wife!
The proposal was allegedly somewhat less than the romantic fairytale that many women would dream of. “Harry asked Meghan to marry him over the phone,” a source told OK! exclusively. “It was matter-of-fact. He was joking about all the rumors of them getting married and he said why don’t they just go ahead and do it?”
Still, despite the manner of delivery, 35-year-old Meghan was not about to turn down her charming prince. “Meghan said she almost peed her pants,” the insider claimed. “She said yes of course. There was no Champagne, no moonlight or music and they weren’t even on the same continent.”
All hope for a romantic proposal is not lost, though. The 32-year-old wants to redeem himself for the benefit of the royals. “Harry plans to formally propose later to please his family.”
