Ingredients:-

Marination:-
½ kg boneless chicken thigh
1 tbsp. ginger-garlic paste
¼ cup plain yogurt
½ lemon juice
Salt to taste

Pulao:-
Ghee
Mixed Dry Spices (Whole Garam Masala)
Sliced Oninons
2 tsp. ginger-garlic paste
Chopped Green Chillies
2 tsp. Red Chilli Powder
2 tsp. Turmeric Powder
Salt to taste
2 chopped tomatoes
Bowl of soaked rice


Method:-

For Marination:-
Take the chicken thighs, ginger-garlic paste, plain yogurt and half a lemon juice in a bowl and mix it well. Keep this mixture in the refrigerator for about an hour.

For Pulao:-
Take a vessel and add ghee to it and let it melt. Once the ghee melts add bay leaves, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, black pepper corns, green cardamom and cloves to it. Now add sliced onions and fry them till they are brown. Then add the ginger-garlic paste and cook it properly. Once done, add green chillies, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt as per taste. Give this mixture a stir and cook it properly. Now add the tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes. After the tomatoes are cooked add the marinated chicken to the mixture and let it cook for 15-20 minutes on high flame at first and bringing the flame down afterwards. Add salt as per taste and then the soaked rice followed by water and bring it to a boil. Take a dish cloth and cover the vessel with. Then put a lid on the cloth. Now cook this on a low flame. Take the lid & cloth off after 10 minutes. Garnish with the garam masala and chopped coriander.
Delicious Chicken Pulao is ready to serve!
