RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has inducted its 50th C-130 aircraft on Wednesday after indigenous overhauling by the PAF engineers.

A special ceremony held at PAF base Nur Khan here to mark the military and technology achievement of PAF engineers.

Chief of Air Staff (CAS) Sohail Aman was the chief guest on the occasion.

While addressing the ceremony, CAS Sohail Aman termed the achievement of PAF engineers as milestone and lauded their efforts.

Stressing on indigenous capabilities, he said that a number of programmes have been initiated. “PAF will always come to the expectation of the nation”, he added.

Furthermore, he said that besides jet fighters in war against terror, C-130 aircrafts have contributed a lot in the campaign.
